Designation purpose

The goal of the project was to develop methods for constructing an optimal modern high-precision geodynamic GNSS network on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan to ensure an effective assessment of the parameters of deformation of the earth's surface.
Objectives: Development of methods for the formation of a local digital system of normal heights based on satellite GNSS measurements and data from global models of the Earth's gravitational field. Development of methods for determining spatial deformations of the earth's surface based on GNSS measurements of the local geodetic network of Uzbekistan.

Project description

A thematic map with the geospatial location of lineaments for the Tashkent geodynamic polygon and the Kashkadarya region was obtained using Landsat-8 satellite images. A model of the local geoid of the Tashkent test site was obtained based on satellite measurements

A method for forming a local digital system of normal heights based on GNSS-leveling has been developed. A method has been developed for interpreting lineament structures based on satellite images as an alternative to traditional geological methods. A program has been created to determine the spatial deformations of the earth's surface based on GNSS measurements of the local geodetic network of Uzbekistan.
