At ginneries, in the existing designs of raw cotton cleaners from fine litter 1HK and the UHK unit, the process of transporting raw cotton is carried out due to the unidirectional horizontal movement of peg drums in which the wrap angle of the mesh surface does not exceed 90 °, where in the zone between two adjacent drums that move Towards each other, the particles of raw cotton are exposed to significant shock effects from the pegs of adjacent drums, which is the reason for the appearance of up to 1% of short fibers in the composition of the emitted trash, which amounts to 30,000 tons of processed raw cotton to 14-16 tons of fiber. The developed version of the vertical combined cleaner of raw cotton from fine and coarse litter makes it possible to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages by sequential movement of the peg drums where it becomes possible to increase the angle of coverage of the mesh surface of the drum. The unidirectional rotation speed of the peg drums eliminates bottomhole situations in the machine. In this case, the angle of the peg drum wrap with a mesh surface is more than 180 °. The developed layout of the cleaning sections and the sequential transportation of raw cotton along the associated cleaning sections can significantly increase the cleaning effect, as well as preserve the natural quality indicators of raw cotton and its components, eliminate the appearance of short fibers, damage to fibers and seeds during transportation on drums, which is the basis for the development of technology for vertical cleaning of raw cotton at ginneries. The introduction of an innovative vertical technology for cleaning raw cotton makes it possible, in comparison with the existing UKHK unit, to reduce the metal consumption of the structure when fully equipped from 20.0 tons to 8.8 tons, energy consumption decreases from 98 kW to 39 kW, practically eliminates the escape of short fibers with trash ...
Development documents will be provided at the request of the interested party. The development can be implemented in all 98 enterprises in the system of Uzpakhtasanoat JSC and the created cotton-textile clusters of the Republic within two years after conducting production tests of prototypes of new raw cotton cleaners.
The following results were obtained on the laboratory bench: 1. The cleaning effect is more than 80% with a single cleaning, which is 6-8% higher than that of the operated cleaners; 2. The appearance of short fibers in trash impurities has been practically eliminated. 3. Decreased metal consumption by 56%. 4. Decreased energy consumption by 60.2%.

This development and its author are the winners of the 2018 National Competition for Innovative Ideas organized by the Strategic Development Center, the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the UN Office in Uzbekistan within the framework of the Innoweek International Week in Tashkent. The proposed development for the creation of a new purifier is the topic of the doctoral dissertation of the applicant Kh.S. Usmanov (80% readiness), in connection with which such a short period of its implementation is planned.
The innovative ecological technology of vertical cleaning of raw cotton from weeds completely replaces the cleaning equipment in the imported sets of cotton factories. The export potential of the new purifier is related to the demand for this equipment in all countries of the "cotton belt" that produce and process raw cotton.
